THE DOOR OF THE HEART

A PORTA DO CORAÇÃO
O pintor Holman Hunt terminara a tela "A Luz do Mundo", que mostra Jesus Cristo em um jardim, com uma lanterna na mão esquerda, batendo com a mão direita em uma grande porta fechada. Ao apresentar a tela, um circunstante aproximou-se e observou:
-"A obra não está completa. Falta o fecho da porta."
-"Esta enganado", respondeu Hunt. "Esta porta é a do coração humano. Só se abre por dentro".
